On this photo you can see the big leakage at the bottom of the tank. This happened after we’ve filled the tank with about 8,000 liters of water. We tried every method you can think of to stop the water from leaking : tar, Pratley Steal and even pressing plastic inside … but without any luck.
We called all the neighbours from around, inviting them to bring all their jerry cans and empty containers so it can be filled. For them it was a great day, as everybody struggle with water and most people must walk quite a distance to fetch water. It kind-of felt good to know that at least we’ve managed to help some people in the area. We still however lost about half of the water in the tank. It feels terrible knowing that there is such a water crisis, and then witness how water is simply disappearing in the sand.Please pray for us for provision to buy a plastic tank that is much more durable and stronger.
