JUNIOR ACADEMY'S SPORTS DAY - 7 JUNE 08

Red and Blue Teams marching before the audience. How it works is that the little ones participate in their different items while the bigger students do all the cheering.

Kids are being lifted up after receiving their “medals”.
We’ve asked parents to hand out the “medals” to the kids on the podium. Parents f.l.t.r. is baba Adam (i.e. father to Adam); Ruth (mama Timothy); Peter Kihika (baba Purdric) and Pauline (aunty to Glen, a Grade 0 student). On the stand is f.l.t.r. Ann, Purdric, Adam & Joy after they’ve done the Bean Bag Throwing.
The parents also had the opportunity to participate in several items like Tug of War, Egg Running, etc. (above & below)
The Blue and Red Teams showing off all there “medals”. This year we had a great idea to make the so-called medals of lollipops – It worked like a bomb. Wilco with some of the staff after a hard day of PLAY.
David Mwangi and Mary Wambui were the cheering leaders for the Blue Team who walked away with the Cheering Cup.
