STARTING OF THE 3rd TERM 2008

Delivering all the goodies that was brought from SA
While Lydia was in SA, she organized for this emblem to be made for the school. Great was her surprise when she found out that the guy who owns the printing business, was with her in Carletonville High School many, many, many years ago (ha-ha). His name is Gert-Pieter van der Merwe and he owns "Print A Sign" in Fochville, SA. If you're in the area and you would like some printing work done, you can contact him on (+27) 823776248 or e-mail him at gpvan@absamail.co.za ... You can be sure to get an excellent service.
Here Lydia is with Mrs Pauline Maina, the new Administrator of YASHA.

This videos were donated to YASHA by Rowland and Lucy Wilson from Blyvooruitzicht near Carletonville. They also blessed YASHA with educational books and other items. Rowland and Lucy are our Mission Coordinators and are involved with a home of safety, called Harmony Centre. They are doing a tremendous work there. If you would like to get involved in their or our ministry, you can phone them on (+27) 828264408 or e-mail them at wilsons4kenya@hotmail.com (unfortunately their other e-mail is not operational at the moment).

This is toys that were bought mainly for the Baby Care Centre and Nursery Department, although we also have some toys in the lower Primary level.
~~~~~
Lydia bought quite a lot of stuff for the monthly Merit Shop. The students were totally thrilled to "buy" some items from South Africa. Many of the things she brought is either not available in Kenya or very expensive like the army men - you will pay at least 3 times more for it if you buy it locally.
We are SO GRATEFUL for all your contributions that made it possible for Lydia and the boys to come back with these, and so much more. May our Father who sees in secret, reward you in public.
